A fire burned three acres of brush and slowed freeway traffic through the Sepulveda Pass on Sunday morning, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
City fire crews took about one hour to put out the fire, which burned a hillside near Mulholland Drive and the San Diego Freeway in Sherman Oaks, said Jim Wells, a Fire Department spokesman.
No houses were threatened by the fire, which was reported shortly after 10 a.m. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, Wells said.
