LINCOLN, Neb. — TV personality Dick Cavett donned several hats in his old home town to produce a 15-minute television spot for the Lied Center for Performing Arts. The spot features Cavett as himself in a tuxedo on stage and in other parts of the center and as a chauffeur giving a backstage tour of the new performing arts center. The short film will be shown during broadcasts of productions at the center on Nebraska Educational Television, said Marshall Jamison, an NETV senior producer. Cavett, a 1954 alumnus of Lincoln High School, paid his last visit to Lincoln in July for his 35th class reunion.
