Charming Inn

My husband and I just returned from a trip to New England. The highlight was our stay at the Governor’s Inn in Ludlow, Vt., which I remembered from your past article (“Winter in New England” by Jerry Hulse, Nov. 1, 1987). The setting was charming and the six-course meals were delicious. Deedy and Charlie Marble have a unique ability to be gracious and attentive while still providing the privacy we are looking for in a country inn.
The address: 86 Main St., Ludlow, Vt. 05149. Call (802) 228-8830.
