Goff’s Jersey Number to Be Retired

Former Magnolia High School basketball forward Mike Goff, who died on Dec. 16, will have his jersey number, 30, retired during pregame ceremonies Jan. 26 at the school’s gymnasium.

Goff was the county’s leading scorer and rebounder in the 1987-88 season, averaging 28.2 points and 16.7 rebounds. Goff was playing for Fullerton College when he died at his family’s home. He was 19.
