THE PUBLIC SPEAKS ON ‘PEAKS’
All the critics raved about how good “Twin Peaks” is and what a treat it is. I wonder how much they were paid to mislead us into wasting two hours on the pilot film? I stuck with it to the bitter-and empty-end, trying to discover what it was that attracted them so. Instead, I found it annoying, shallow and badly edited, using old-fashioned tricks to create pseudo-drama.
I also don’t care for the new “Capital News.” Love “Murphy Brown,” “Designing Women” and “Empty Nest.”
