GLUT II: There’s lots of empty space in Orange County hotels, too, but one bright spot may be the new terminal at John Wayne Airport, an area considered to be the county’s most overbuilt. . . . “The expected traffic is supposed to go from 4.5 million passengers to 8.5 million over a period of time,” says Jim Burba, an observer of the hotel scene (D6), “so it should help quite a bit.”
