BUENA PARK : Man Killed Trying to Break Up Fight

A Buena Park man was shot and killed Monday in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lived when he apparently tried to break up a fight, police said.
Ronald Louis Brown, 28, was pronounced dead at Martin Luther Hospital after the 2:45 a.m. shooting, Police Sgt. Terry Branum said.
Residents of the apartment complex in the 8500 block of Commonwealth Avenue heard a man and woman arguing in the parking lot, Branum said.
When Brown left his apartment to intervene, “the male shot him once in the chest with a shotgun,” Branum said.
Witnesses at the apartment told police they saw the couple get into a dark-colored, full-size vehicle as Brown lay wounded in the parking lot.
Police on Monday were searching for the two suspects.
