Fluor Wins $200-million Refinery Contract: The Irvine-based engineering and construction company will upgrade an oil refinery in Corpus Christi, Tex., for San Antonio-based Valero Refining Co. Fluor also received a $50-million contract from a Chilean company, Los Pelambres Copper, to engineer and help build a copper ore and molybdenum processing plant 200 miles north of Santiago.
