Yields On 2-Year Treasury Notes Rise: The average yield was 8.19%, up from 8.07% at the Treasury’s last comparable auction on July 25. It was the highest rate since two-year notes averaged 8.41% on June 26. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 8.125%, with each $10,000 of face value selling for $9,988.20. A total of $11.56 billion in notes was sold.
