After months of deliberation, University of Maryland point guard Walt Williams announced that he would remain at the school for at least one more season.

Williams, a 6-foot-8 junior, had been considering a transfer since March, when the basketball team was banned from appearing in the NCAA tournament for two years and from live television for one season.
