Fulford Leads Marina to Victory

Marina High School fullback Shawn Fulford ran for touchdowns of three yards and 60 yards to lead Marina to a 17-7 victory over Lompoc at Lompoc Friday night.
Fulford’s third-quarter scoring run of three yards put Marina ahead, 10-7. It was the first time this season that Lompoc has been scored upon in the third quarter.
Fulford’s 60-yard scoring run with 4:40 left in the fourth quarter put the game away for Marina (4-2).
Lompoc (5-1) is ranked No. 1 in Division 7 but was playing without its injured star running back, Napoleon Kaufman.
