The Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Harvest Festival on Sunday, featuring a pumpkin patch and hayrides.
The festival, to herald the coming of fall, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historical Jones Family Mini Farm, 31791 Los Rios St. Admission is free.
Pumpkin-decorating contests, divided into three age groups for children, will start at noon, 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. All tools for decorating will be provided and prizes will be awarded by Capistrano Gardens Nursery.
The pumpkins will be offered for sale, with proceeds going to the Chamber of Commerce.
Local schools will have game booths. Entertainment and food will also be available.
Children may visit with farm animals, take a hayride or ride a pony.
Officials said visitors should park downtown and walk to Los Rios Street.
