GM’s Van Nuys Plant Will Close for Holidays

The General Motors plant in Van Nuys will be closed from Monday to Jan. 2 during the company’s annual holiday break.
The plant employs about 3,300 hourly workers.
General Motors, Chrysler and Ford are all ceasing production during the Christmas season because of lagging winter sales.
