OJAI : Free New Year’s Taxi Rides Offered

Ojai Taxi Co. will provide free rides home anywhere in Ojai Valley between noon New Year’s Eve and noon New Year’s Day. The service is sponsored by New Beginnings Chemical Dependency Program. Call 646-TAXI.
Ojai Taxi and four taverns are also offering discount coupons for cab deliveries of passengers, food or beverages now through New Year’s Eve. One coupon allows a cab rider to be driven back to his car the next day for $3.50.
Another coupon provides for motorist and vehicle to be driven home at the same time for $20. Those who don’t want to drive can use a coupon to have the cab company deliver food or beverages.
