Presidential Opponents to Bush in ’92

Baker is incorrect. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell (D-Me.) would defeat Bush in ’92 if he chose to run. It is impossible to observe Mitchell for very long without realizing the valuable asset America has here. He is extremely capable and would make a fine President. Moreover, Americans would trust him with their pocketbooks and country.
As Democrats begin to think about ‘92, I urge each one to consider drafting George Mitchell.
