Globetrotters’ Game to Benefit 2 Groups

BREA — The Harlem Globetrotters will take on the Boston Shamrocks Sept. 6 in a charity game to benefit the Lions Scout Center Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club.
The Harlem Globetrotters combine wizardry, comedy and athletic skills to entertain basketball fans.
The game is sponsored by the Brea Foundation and the city. Tickets are on sale at the Curtis Theater box office weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at the Community Services counter at the Brea Civic and Cultural Center weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The exhibition game will be at the Brea-Olinda High School gym. For more information, phone (714) 990-7722.
