The city is soliciting applications for volunteer members of the Design Review Board, created by the City Council on Sept. 18.
The board will review every project requiring a building permit for architectural sensitivity, said Bill Campbell, the city’s director of building and planning. Campbell said the board will probably meet twice a month.
City officials are looking for licensed architects, contractors, city planners, graphic designers or educators in design-related fields, either practicing or retired.
Resumes will be accepted through Oct. 17 at the city clerk’s office, 1414 Mission St., South Pasadena 91030.
