Disney Hall: ‘Work of Art’ or Wet Cardboard?
I couldn’t believe my eyes, staring at the picture of the proposed Disney Hall to be built atop Bunker Hill. It doesn’t resemble a galleon in full sail, as stated, to me. More like the aftermath of an earthquake. I think it is atrocious. I recently heard a well-known radio talk show host say that it looked like someone had held it up and then dropped it.
The article states that Lillian B. Disney, who is funding $50 million for the project, which is to be a memorial to her late husband, is “delighted” with the design, but I bet poor Walt is turning in his grave.
