A Littlerock man was arrested on suspicion of murder Monday after authorities received a tip that he had shot another man to death and left the body in a field, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Miguel Campos, 31, was being held without bail at the Antelope Valley sheriff’s station, deputies said.
Campos was arrested after authorities found the body about 12:50 p.m. near 110th Street East and Avenue T-12 in Littlerock, Deputy Irma Becerra said.
“Deputies were led to that location by a witness who stated that the victim had been shot following an altercation with the suspect the night before,” Becerra said.
The victim was shot once in the head. His identity had not been determined.
