Canon Unveils Light Home Video Camera

New York — Canon Inc. introduced what it says is the lightest 8-millimeter video camcorder on the market.
The device weighs 1.28 pounds without battery, tape or its detachable remote control.
The camcorder, called the Canovision 8 UCI, will be available next month and carries a list price of $1,499, the Japanese electronics maker said.
