Delta II Launch for Germany: McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Co. said it won a contract to launch a commercial telecommunications satellite for Germany on a Delta II rocket. The contract, worth about $50 million to the company, is the 14th commercial launch for the Delta rocket. The launch is scheduled for the fall of 1992.
