In response to “Student Kills 4, Then Himself on Iowa Campus,” Nov. 2:
If the assassin had been living in his own country of China he would not have been permitted to own or use a gun. Our gun laws are so insane that we invite assassins to indulge their darkest dreams--all in the guise of protecting the alleged rights of so-called “sportsmen.” How many deaths by gunfire must be endured before the country rises up against the National Rifle Assn. and its moronic philosophy?
