A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Lutheran Church in Temple City for Bud Rose, 77, a West Coast sprint car champion in the 1930s and ‘40s and the winner of the first Riverside 500 in 1958. Rose, of South Pasadena, died Wednesday.
