The eighth annual Noise for Toys benefit, staged Dec. 21 at the Doll Hut in Anaheim, drew about 150 people and raised $800 and four sacks of donated toys. The proceeds are being donated to the Orangewood Children’s Home for abused children. Linda Mello, the Doll Hut’s co-owner, said the cash will be used to buy portable tape players for teen-age residents of the home.
