Add recruiting: Kirstin Laird, a Southern Section 4-A first-team volleyball player, has orally committed to play at Northern Arizona next fall.

Laird, a 5-7 setter, chose Northern Arizona over USC, Colorado State, Cornell, Columbia, Georgia Tech and Morehead State. She has a 3.9 grade-point average and plans to study environmental science and advertising.

Laird was a three-year All-Empire League selection and the league’s MVP last season.
