HAD ENOUGH: Deputy Dist. Atty. Dennis Dean Bauer’s career the past five years has primarily been prosecuting repeat sexual offenders. He’s convinced somewhere there has to be a limit. He has written legislation, at the request of state Sen. Robert Presley (D-Riverside) that would require a sentence of life without parole for those convicted a third time on major sexual assaults. . . . “By the third time, it’s clear they’re going to re-offend if we can’t keep them off the street,” Bauer says.
