Master’s Posts Semifinal Win

Joe Jon Bryant and Tom Bruner each scored 22 points Friday to lead The Master’s College to a 99-86 victory over Lee (Tenn.) College in a semifinal of the National Christian College Athletic Assn. basketball tournament in Marion, Ind.
The Master’s (23-11) advances to its second consecutive championship game, facing Bethel (Tenn.) College (26-10) tonight at 5. The Master’s was tournament runner-up last season.
The Mustangs, who set a school record for victories with the win, went on a 15-5 run and took a 77-61 lead with 7 minutes 1 second left. They shot 72% (18 for 25) after intermission.
Jason Webster added 17 points for The Master’s, and Damon Greer scored 12.
