D.A. Report Called Biased
I am writing in response to the article on the San Diego district attorney’s report on Waste Management Inc. (“San Diego D.A. Issues Alert About Trash Firm,” April 2).
That report is biased, unprofessional and an incomplete effort that bears little resemblance to our company. A responsible explanation for the bias in the report may lie in San Diego County’s opposition to private sector involvement in waste disposal projects.
More comprehensive, independent reviews of our company performed by other cities and nationally recognized consulting firms have documented Waste Management’s leadership role in the environmental services industry.
