Hot Movie: TNT will rebroadcast “Heat Wave,” its original made-for-TV movie about the 1965 Watts riots, tonight after the NBA playoff game. The movie, about the experiences of reporter Robert Richardson, stars Blair Underwood, Cicely Tyson and James Earl Jones. “Heat Wave” won an Emmy, three Cable ACEs and a Writers Guild of America Award when it first aired in August 1990.
