Motorcyclist Dies in Collision with Truck

A motorcyclist died early Sunday when he ran a red light and collided with a pickup truck, authorities said.
San Diego police said Ronald L. Jones, 24, was traveling north on Montezuma Road at 1:05 a.m. when he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Montezuma Road and Catoctin Drive.
Police said Jones’ Kawasaki motorcycle broadsided a pickup truck and burst into flames. Jones died at the scene, police said.
