Pact With Vietnam: International Marketing Consortium, a Placentia company set up to trade with Vietnam, said it has signed an industrial consulting agreement with the Vietnamese government to improve food distribution and help U.S. companies acquire properties and locate light manufacturing facilities in the Southeast Asian country.
The agreement was signed in anticipation of the normalization of relations between the United States and Vietnam, said Christopher W. Walker, the firm’s marketing director.
IMC provides such products as construction and farming equipment to the Vietnamese government, he said.
