SAN DIEGO : Body Found in Surf Off Ocean Beach

The body of an unidentified man was found floating Tuesday afternoon in the waters off Ocean Beach, authorities said.
About 1 p.m., people atop a cliff spotted the body of the man, estimated to be about 25 years old, floating in the surf line about a quarter of a mile south of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Ladera Street, coroner’s investigator Bill Leard said. The body had been drifting in the water about two hours before being discovered, Leard said.
The man was a 5-foot-10 white male with light brown hair and blue eyes, weighing about 175 pounds and wearing a long-sleeved blue sweater, gray T-shirt, blue pants and sneakers, Leard said.
