SAN DIEGO : Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Truck

A 22-year-old Miramar College student was killed in Ocean Beach Tuesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a pickup, coroner’s officials said.
Gregory Allen Phillips was speeding on Famosa Boulevard about 2 p.m. when he struck the rear of a truck making a U-Turn, coroner’s spokesman Dan Matticks said. Phillips, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, caused by multiple injuries, Matticks said.
The truck driver, Corey Keeling of San Diego, was not injured in the accident, Matticks said. Keeling was not cited.
