A federal grand jury in Los Angeles indicted four men on bank robbery charges Thursday for their roles in three unrelated bank robberies last month in Ventura County, the FBI announced.
In each case, the suspects were apprehended shortly after the robbery, said Special Agent Charlie J. Parsons, who heads the FBI’s Los Angeles office. All face a post-indictment arraignment July 13 in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
Terry George Luken, 42, of Oxnard was arrested outside a Ventura branch of Wells Fargo Bank on June 19, when three employees of an air-conditioning firm working at the bank seized Luken and held him until officers arrived, the FBI said.
Robert Daniel Johnson, 22, of San Diego, and James Martinez, 24, of Oxnard, were indicted in connection with the June 22 robbery of 1st Nationwide Bank on N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.
Jeffrey Dean Galleher, 23, of Calabasas was indicted in the June 23 robbery of a branch of Bank of America on East Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks.
