Firm Wins NASA Contract: PDA Engineering in Costa Mesa has won a three-year contract worth $6.75 million from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for purchase of its engineering analysis and materials software programs.
PDA’s Patran and M/Vision software will be used in the development of NASA’s biggest space projects, including the proposed Space Station Freedom, the National Aerospace Plane and a new generation launch rocket.
The contract period began May 1. PDA’s software allows engineers to design three-dimensional objects with easy-to-use computer graphics.
