Kennedy 21, Cleveland 7--Running back Donte Scarbrough scored second-half touchdowns on runs of nine and six yards to spark the Golden Cougars over host Cleveland. Scarbrough, a junior, led all rushers with 115 yards in 19 carries.

Cleveland (3-5, 1-5) took a 7-0 halftime lead on Coron Lewis’ two-yard run to cap a 10-play, 52-yard drive. Scarbrough’s first touchdown knotted the score, 7-7, in the third quarter. Kennedy (4-5, 4-2) took a 14-7 lead when Reggie Martin returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown.
