New Host: Jim Moret debuted Tuesday as the Los Angeles host of CNN’s “ShowBiz Today,” replacing three-year co-anchor Bella Shaw. A spokeswoman said the move was made to give the program a “new direction” and that Moret, who joined CNN last March from Fox’s syndicated “Entertainment Daily Journal,” would give the show a “harder, insider’s look at the business.” Laurin Sydney continues to co-anchor from New York.
