Would-Be Thief Is Stuck With the Loot

RIO DE JANEIRO — A would-be thief came to a sticky end when he began sniffing the glue he was stealing from a shop in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte, Globo TV reported Thursday.
Overcome by the fumes, the man collapsed, upsetting a tank of glue and sticking himself to the floor of the shop, Globo said. He lay there for 36 hours, unable to tear himself free, before firemen managed to cut him loose, the TV station said.
