Tiger Woods Will Attend Either Stanford or UNLV

Tiger Woods, one of the top high school golfers in Southern Section history, has narrowed his college choices to Stanford and Nevada Las Vegas, according to Don Crosby, Woods’ golf coach at Western High School.

Woods is scheduled to announce his college plans Wednesday at a 10 a.m. press conference at Western.

Woods has won the U.S. Junior Golf Assn. Boys’ Championship a record three times, as well as the Southern Section title (1991), and the CIF-Southern California Golf Assn. title (1991).
