More than 30 community organizations will offer parents free information about their services during a special fair today at Morningside Elementary School.
Called “CARE Night”--short for “Community Assistance Resources Education”--the fair will include groups such as the Orange County Health Care Agency, Vietnamese Community of Orange County and the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, school district spokesman Alan Trudell said.
Officials from Morningside and Excelsior elementary schools will play host to the fair, which is designed to provide parents with a better understanding of programs available to them.
Garden Grove police will offer free fingerprinting for children 5 and older. Translators will be provided for parents who speak Spanish and Vietnamese.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Morningside Elementary, 10521 Morningside Drive.
