Today’s schedule (at the Racquet Centre, Studio City, 2 p.m.): Singles--Dylan Mann, Woodland Hills Taft, vs. Robert Williams, Dorsey. Doubles--Oliver Catlin-Jeff Manson, Palisades, vs. Jason Ebin-Daniel Elperin, Palisades.

Last year’s champions: Singles--Rafael Huerta, Chatsworth. Doubles--Catlin-Manson, Palisades.

Outlook: Catlin and Manson, Palisades’ No. 1 doubles team and last year’s City champions, face an unexpected opponent today in Palisades’ No. 2 doubles team, Ebin and Elperin. Bud Kling, Palisades’ coach for 16 years, said both teams are talented. “Catlin and Manson play better against opponents from other teams, but play less well against Ebin and Elperin,” Kling said. “I think they’re even.” The singles final matches two sophomores in Mann and Williams. Williams defeated Mann in a tournament earlier this year and is top-seeded.
