* Carol A. Shumway has been appointed director of finance for the Southern California region of Compass Management and Leasing Inc. in Irvine. She has more than 14 years’ experience in commercial property management, including serving as controller for Irvine Co.’s 8-million-square-foot office and industrial portfolio. Before that, Shumway supervised the Orange and Riverside counties management accounting function for CB Commercial Real Estate Group.
