O.C. Athletes Win Club Title

Led by former Edison star Mark Presho, Team ASICS/Paul Mitchell of Huntington Beach won the championships final of the U.S. Volleyball Assn. national club championships Sunday in Tulsa, Okla.
Presho, of Huntington Beach, had 25 kills in the 15-6, 17-15, 15-13 victory over Power/I Dig of Long Island, N.Y.
Brett Schroeder, who played at Huntington Beach High, had 49 assists for ASICS, which was defending its national title.
Presho, 25, was named player of the year and teammates Schroeder and Coley Kyman of Northridge were named All-Americans. Tom Hoff was named rookie of the year.
