Shrinking Technophobia: Psychologists Michelle Weil and Larry Rosen hope to lead their colleagues through the bewildering world of computers in a set of seminars aimed at taking the fear out of technology.
The psychologists, based in Orange, plan a series of workshops on how to do things like fax a letter to someone, use voice mail and practice billing and management programs on office computers.
The seminars are geared to help psychologists move comfortably into the office of the computer age, Weil said.
The one- or two-day workshops will be held June 17-18 in Orange County, Aug. 26-27 in Los Angeles County and Oct. 7-8 in Orange County. The cost for a two-day seminar is $250 for early registrants and $300 for late registrants.
