Fluor Vice Chairman Kontny Taking Early Retirement

Fluor Corp. said Vice Chairman Vince Kontny has decided to take early retirement after 29 years with the Irvine-based engineering and construction company. Kontny, 57, said he is looking forward to spending extra time with his family and on other interests. “I have mixed emotions about leaving at this particular time, given the company’s considerable success, exceptional financial condition and positive business outlook,” said Kontny.
