Saint John’s Hospital Gets Grant: Saint John’s Hospital & Health Center in Santa Monica said it received the $10-million grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation and will use it to develop plans for a redesigned hospital. Saint John’s has been closed for inpatient services since it suffered major damage during the Jan. 17 earthquake. The hospital plans to resume inpatient admissions Oct. 3.
