SOUTH-CENTRAL : Housing Services Facility to Open

Los Angeles Neighborhood Housing Services will open its new corporate headquarters in South-Central on Election Day.
The facilities at 3111 S. Flower St. will provide training for homeownership, financial and insurance counseling, loans to buy homes and for home rehabilitation, and youth training and employment. An 11:30 a.m. reception will be followed by an open house.
The 10-year-old nonprofit organization, which operates in four inner-city neighborhoods in Los Angeles, encourages residents to become stake holders in their community by assisting them to move from renter to homeowner.
