CRENSHAW : Center to Hold Parenting Workshop

The Natural Way Educational Center is sponsoring a workshop Saturday designed to improve parenting techniques.
The workshop will examine a variety of parental issues, including parent/child relationship building, discipline techniques, community support networks and ways to help children cope with grief.
The workshop, which will include refreshments and sessions for children ages 5 and older, will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church annex, 5100 Coliseum St.
Workshops will also be held Nov. 12 and Dec. 10 at the same location.
The Natural Way Education Center is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit group dedicated to increasing the skills of African American parents. The cost of the workshop is $50, but the fee will be waived for those who cannot afford it.
