Only about 1,300 tickets had been sold as of Monday afternoon for the Angels’ first exhibition game Wednesday night against Arizona State at Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. But with this being the Angels’ first game with replacement players, and with the potential for picket lines outside the stadium, and with the press corps boosted because of the strike talks in Scottsdale, the team is preparing for a media event.
