* I want to be among the first to congratulate Victoria Jacobs, the 44-year-old Valley grandmother turned Playboy cover girl (Feb. 28).
Particularly commendable is the devout Catholicism professed by Our Lady of North Hollywood, as evident in her response to possible concerns about posing nude for St. Hef: “As long as it brings me happiness, I don’t really care.”
God knows, we just don’t hear that old-time gospel truth enough in this age of self-restraint and rampant prudery.
